How to choose

Five questions that decide the real price

  1. What is the price based on? Locations, staff logins, users or monthly visits. A plan that looks cheap can grow fast if your volume is high or your team is large.
  2. What is included in the entry plan? Check SMS, appointment booking and analytics in particular: these are often in a higher plan or charged as add-ons.
  3. Who pays for SMS? Some vendors include messages only in certain countries, others charge per message.
  4. What hardware do you have to buy? Browser-based systems run on screens and tablets you already own; others work best with their own apps or devices.
  5. Can you test it on a real day? A free trial on your own queue tells you more than any comparison page, including this one.

Fair to say

When Qwaiton is not the right choice

  • You need an on-premises installation on your own servers. Qwaiton is cloud software; enterprise vendors such as Qmatic, Wavetec or SEDCO, and Qwaiting’s on-premises product, offer that.
  • You run a tiny waitlist of a few dozen visits a month. A free plan such as Waitwhile’s (1 location, 50 visits per month) may be all you need.
  • You need specific certifications written into a contract (for example a SOC 2 report). Ask every vendor, including us, for the documents before you sign.
